Delicious strawberry matcha with homemade strawberry puree (best Iβve ever had). The owner is so kind and friendly, she is the best! Very good vanilla latte also. I didnβt like the croissant I got, pretty dry. Maybe they should consider a different supplier of baked goods.

My #1 fave spot for good coffee in Raleigh! Itβs a small location, so not as much room if youβre looking for a place to hang out and get work done, but the coffee is so good, the staff is always friendly, and Iβve always enjoyed the baked goods too. I love to stop in for seasonal drinks. If you want something unique off the menu my favorite is the Headless Horseman, hot. Def make a stop if youβre down town! You can park on the street across from them or use the parking deck on Blount Street next to Skyhouse if itβs before 7pm on the weekdays.

As locals, we frequent this coffee shop regularly. Unfortunately, our experience today was completely unacceptable. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in, an Asian woman (I'm not sure if she was the manager or owner) seemed to be watching us. We went to the register and ordered our usual: two 16oz strawberry matchas and two pastries. Since it was busy, we waited about 10 minutes for our order. The woman eventually called out, "Two strawberry matchas." As my girlfriend walked up to grab our drinks, the woman immediately said, "Uh-uh. These are not yours. You got the small ones. These are hers," while pointing to another customer standing nearby. That customer took our drinks, laughed, and quickly left. At that point, we knew something wasn't right. My girlfriend explained that we had ordered two 16oz strawberry matchas. The woman repeatedly insisted that we had ordered smaller drinks. She then went to the register, looked at a ticket that said "Jay," and asked my girlfriend, "You're Jay, right?" My girlfriend responded, "No, I'm Alexis, and we've been waiting longer than the girl who grabbed our drinks." The woman then asked, "You were here first?" despite the fact that

Come here for my morning coffees. I get a modified lavender cloud with mocha cold foam - my accommodations are always answered by these experts. Accompanied picture is the strawberry shortcake latte, a part of the spring menu. 42 & Lawrence stands out with creative, colorful, delicious drinks. Please give them a try.
